Solo and Ensemble Festival!

Last Thursday was Region Solo and Ensemble Festival and I had a solo that I was going to play on my flute.  When I got there, a bunch of people that I knew from another school were there to support one of their flute players.  She played her solo and everyone (there were probably about 20) clapped and congratulated her.  I was getting a little psyched out because I knew all these people.  But then they all walked out so when it was my turn, it was the adjudicator, my accompanist, and me in the room.  Much less intimidating, and I did really well with no nervous mistakes or anything.  And best of all, I got a 1 so I'm going to perform in State Solo and Ensemble Festival!  Yay!
